We’ve been using Prarie Peak for about a year now with my pup Henry. He LOVES going and starts telling me all about it as soon as we turn on 78 even miles away. He always has a great time and comes home exhausted. Lily did our puppy training class last year and helped Henry learn to be a gentleman. We love Prarie Peak and can’t wait to come back again next summer.

Purchased a Small Munsterlander a few months back, he is now 4 months old and is already a beast. He holds point, pretty good with release, finds small birds around the yard and brings them to me, and was a breeze to get potty trained. Highly recommend getting a pup through Prairie Peak, I’m excited to get him out this hunting season!

I left my two corgis for a weekend trip and was concerned that my dog Bandicoot would case trouble, as he is very dog aggressive. The team assured me he would be separated and safe and only interact with my other dog, Pikachu. When I came back I found that he was not only safe, but both dogs were wonderfully wore out from a weekend of fun! The next morning my two favorite trouble makers are still sleeping soundly recovering from what must have been a blast of weekend! Prairie Peak has been great for Spark (French Brittany). We have boarded him there several times and he is excited to go each time. This past time we boarded him we ran into travel issues coming home and the staff was amazing at accommodating us with another night for him to stay. We have also done the obedience training, 3 week program, and 2 weeks of hunting training with Lily at Prairie Peak. We first took him at 6 months old for obedience training and in 3 weeks we had young children walking him off leash with no issues, recalling to your side and many other commands without challenge for us. The hunting training was great for working on his pointing and nose skills. Spark enjoys every minute he spends with Lily and she has been great for him. Lastly we have had him groomed while there and that has also been great. I would recommend any of the services they have to offer. Great deals on kennels, Garmin E Collars and food at their facility as well.

We have a 10 year old Lab that had a terrible barking problem that became unmanageable do to my wife home officing. Our dog barked progressively more uncontrollably over time. She barked when we got up in the morning, at feeding time, when the phone rang, when we had packages delivered (understandable), and almost anytime there was activity in the house. We were to the point of exploring options to adopt her out of our family when Jack told me he thought he could help. We sent her to Prarie Peak where Jack and Lilly worked with her. I can't believe how they were able to correct the barking problem of a 10 year old dog. Her demeanor is the same as it was but no uncontrollable, sporatic barking. She still barks when people come to the house or at other appropriate times, but not everytime there is activity in the house. We can't believe what a difference Lilly and Jack made in our dog and in our lives. I am amazed and grateful at how they were able to help.Thank you! We highly recommend Prairie Peak Kennels for boarding and training.

First time Lola has been to a kennel since we adopted her as a young pup 4 years ago. It looked like she was having a blast when I walked up to the kennel with all the other dogs. She is flat out exhausted after three nights there! Staff was so friendly and accomodating when we wanted to extend our weekend trip for an extra night, allowing us to get more time with my terminally ill mother. Thank you!

I could not be happier with our pup from the Tali and Buster litter fall of 2023. She is fantastic with the family, other dogs, and new people. She is a very quick learn and her natural ability is fantastic. She was pointing birds in the ND prairie at 11 months old like she had been doing it for a few years already, and continues to grow in her hunting ability. The natural instinct and intense prey drive makes training very enjoyable. Thank you Jack for turning me on to this breed and for all your expertise!!

We've been bringing our two dogs to Prairie Peak for grooming since they opened, and we couldn't be happier. In the 10 years we've had dogs that need grooming, this is the best service we've ever received. Our large Golden Retriever always looks fantastic after each visit, and it's clear he's well cared for by the friendly staff. Our small dog can be a handful when it comes to nail trims, but the team is incredibly patient with him. Their online portal also makes booking appointments quick and easy. Highly recommend!

I’ve boarded my dogs here many times it is very clean and staff are friendly and attentive Lately I had my dogs groomed here and they did a good job I have had horrible luck elsewhere with grooming in the lakes area one woman who called herself a groomer in Ottertail butchered my dogs it was nightmare There’s a large kennel outside of Fergus Falls that did a very poor job but it wasn’t so bad that after a month or so it grew out and looked halfway decent I recommend this kennel but like with many groomers in my experience it’s always better to have a picture of your dog with a grooming you liked in the past to show them
